Service quick and efficient. I booked through Kayak, but was refused the car when I went to pickup. I declined and was left stranded and missed many of my appointments. On May 2nd, I filled up the car at 8: 52 am at Keele St west as the car needed to be filled up and I am required to show a receipt that I filled up the car as per the contract agreement. The same sign was on the door that said that the attendant was away for 15 minutes but unfortunately, I could not wait as I had an urgent appointment and I really need to leave on time. Since there was no one there, I had no choice but to leave the car. I attempted to call the office to let them know I left the car, because I had an urgent very urgent appointment to get to.
This tells me that he was not there until that specific time or else he would have seen that I just returned the car and I have the receipt of when I filled up the car to prove it. The attendee insisted I was not there at 9 am.
He then proceeded to demand I pay for the scratch on the car. The attendee continued to intimidate me and said that he would call the police, he also said that if I did not sign the documents that he would write down I refused to pay which would cause me even more money. I insisted that he provide me this paper work which I have and allow me time to review the paper work before signing anything. It was very hard for me to even ask for time to review the paper work, as he was extremely upset and I was in tears but I knew I had to review anything before signing it, given that he clearly already lied to me as I was clearly there at 9 am having just filled up the car.
I have also attached a video of the car showing the front scratch and its significant damage that he said was ok before I even rented the car and also showing the back scratch that he says I caused although it was not there at 9 am when I returned the car. Given the car model, it was overpriced. Drop off at YHM was difficult and there was no signage or information or even a person to direct.
Staff was nice. The pick up was very difficult. The office was very hard to find. The Shuttle bus never picked us up.
We could have had much better instructions from kayak. They allowed me to drop off at another location in the city free of charge. This was a real bonus and super convenient. Thrifty reviews. Pretty good service. Easy to book, pickup was quick and easy and finding the car in the lot was no issue. The car was immaculate and drove really well, all features worked as expected. I think slightly expensive for 3 days rental but it was similar to other companies.
Would use again, no hesitation. They added all kinds of unknown fees when I arrived. Neither Kayak nor Thrifty accepted my foreign license and could do nothing to fix the reservation. They could not change the driver, could not update the reservation.
None cared to do anything to solve the issue so I lost over dollars. Go to Advantage rent a car down the road, they are better. I was not able to pick up the car because the branch closed at 4 pm. I spent an hour on the phone with PriceLine but they did not help and have not even reimbursed me. Staff were quick and efficient Easy access All was perfect. Cheapest deal. This car was priced at less than half the rate of the big companies so I was nervous but they picked us up as advertised at the Viscount Station.
Their lot is about ten minutes drive away and is a small operation but they were very professional and thorough. The car was low mileage and everything was good. The return was seamless and they dropped us at the Terminal.

Horrible experience. Upon reaching all the way to pickup location that guy tells us there is no car for us. We wastes a trip to the airport from our hotel just to pick this car and we had to return back empty handed and change our plan for the day. Some information where to go would help a lot. The price I was charged is almost double than the The car only! I asked to pick up the car at the airport and the agency claimed that the pick up should be in the city otherwise the price will be increased! In addition the original price was not including insurance which cost me eventually around CAD! Read between the lines and verify everything 10 times before you book your car!

I had to wait 60 minutes for my car when I went to pick it up in early August, The owner, Farhad, was a friendly guy and chatted with me while waiting, but he used our conversation to probe me about my trip and charge me hidden fees related to my travel plans.
When I returned the car, he tried to charge me again for a service that I had already paid for and asked me to send him my receipt as proof. It was a waste of time, it would have been good if they mentioned about this while booking online. Bullied and Scammed Nothing at all Your Discount Car Rental location didn't have any cars, saying they had rented out 30 the day before and none came back.
So I sat there with others for an hour being told "15 minutes till we take you to another location with cars" Turns out the other location is a really poor rental company named Advance Car and Truck Rental Google 2 star rating with reviews of customers being bullied that just happens to have the cars we need.. I'm pretty sure they have an agreement going on between the two because its too convenient and this other place wouldn't survive without Discount dumping customers on them.
To sum it up, they told me to drop the car off whenever I wanted at Discount and they'd get it in the morning. My contract with them says I have it until am.
They called me 4 times during dinner to threaten me to bring it back to their location by 11pm, or they will keep calling and start charging my credit. So not only did I miss Thanksgiving thanks to all of this, but now I'll have to dispute their "Upcharges" with my credit company. And quite frankly, because of how this was all handled, I'm never going to book with your company again, and I'll never recommend anyone I know book with you either.
Sorry to say, but these guys were so rude and threatening on the phone and in person shoving me out of the way when I dropped off the car that I'm completely turned off of going through your company. This company needs to be sued for fraud and misrepresentation. Their customer service was evil and at the same time they had no office in Toronto. Cancelled Car rental without notification Nothing. Landed in Toronto all the way from Edmonton. Found that they canceled reservations without any reason.
No notifications nothing they rent car to different person on higher price. Rent a car for one week. Treat me very bad. No help nothing. Spent 3 hours but no luck and no reason, no response. Need to rent a car from other company as everything was planned for my vacation.
You canceled my booking. The rental was with Dollar and Europcar as you mentioned. Overall, this cost me over CAD extra. They said they transferred my order a couple of days I had to pick it up and they said the transfer did not get through.
So I had no car.
